Tax Partner Role:
As the Tax Partner at our tax and audit practice, you'll be a key player in leading our tax department. Your mission? Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations while offering strategic tax planning and advisory services to our clients. Reporting directly to the firm's partners, you'll be in charge of a team of tax professionals and delivering top-notch client service.
You'll work on crafting and implementing tax strategies to boost clients' financial positions. Providing expert advice on tricky tax matters, researching tax issues, and suggesting innovative solutions to cut down tax liabilities.
As the go-to person for our high-profile clients, you'll build and maintain strong relationships. Understanding clients' business goals and tailoring tax strategies to meet their specific needs. Handling client inquiries, solving tax-related issues, and ensuring timely service delivery.
You'll supervise tax return preparation and review, making sure everything is accurate, complete, and compliant with all the necessary regulations. Keeping up with tax laws, advising on compliance, and spotting and managing tax-related risks. Leading and developing a team of tax professionals, offering constructive feedback, delegating tasks, managing workflows, and meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Collaborating with partners and senior management to spot opportunities for business growth and expansion, participating in client meetings, and presentations.

Tax Partner Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA certification required
- 10+ years of experience in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services, preferably in a public accounting firm or tax consultancy
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, specializing in individuals, corporations/small businesses, and partnerships
- Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and develop a team of tax professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and senior management
- Strategic thinker with a client-centric mindset, delivering innovative tax solutions to meet clients' needs
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying current with industry trends and best practices
