What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting the Operations teams with the rollout and management of our commission system.
- Making sure commission processes are accurate across different products and carriers.
- Collecting and verifying data from various sources to ensure it's spot on.
- Playing around with Excel to format, modify, and convert data as needed.
- Inputting data into our tools and systems for analysis.
- Getting those commissions prepared and processed accurately and on time.
- Dealing with any commission payout inquiries and issues quickly.
- Keeping payout grids and contract levels up-to-date.
- Investigating and resolving any commission discrepancies with our contracting team.
- Understanding different commission structures and processes for various insurance carriers and products inside out.
- Reviewing monthly commission statements and sorting out any data discrepancies.
What You Need to Succeed:
- A college degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Accounting is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in data management, financial data review, or commission specialist roles.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience, especially in insurance or financial services.
- Advanced Excel skills – you should be a wizard with spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis.
- The ability to enter data accurately, ensure precision, and analyze information effectively.
- Experience juggling multiple projects and tasks with ease, even when priorities change.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
