The Job:
This role is pretty important as it supports both accounting and keeps the office running smoothly. They need someone with at least 5 years of bookkeeping under their belt, especially with QuickBooks Enterprise skills. It'd be amazing if you know your way around job costing, and if you've used NetSuite, that's a bonus since they're just getting started with it. If you're into independence, love a family vibe at work, and want a stable job for the long term, this could be your jam.
- Use QuickBooks Enterprise for daily bookkeeping
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Keep the general ledger in check and reconcile accounts
- Assist with job costing and tracking expenses
- Work with the outside CPA and help with audits
- Chat with the ISO consultant about compliance stuff
- Take care of office tasks like supplies, filing, and dealing with vendors
- Pitch in with the NetSuite setup
- Track billable hours and make sure things get processed on time
- Be the go-to person and jump in where needed around the office
Your Background:
- 5+ years in bookkeeping and office management
- Must know QuickBooks Enterprise inside out
- Job costing knowledge is a big plus
- If you've worked with NetSuite, that's awesome
- No degree needed, but being reliable and skilled is key
- Can work solo and take charge when needed
- Super organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable in a small, family-like work environment
- As the sole member of the department, being independent and trustworthy is crucial
- Expect to spend around 5 hours a day on bookkeeping with other office tasks filling up the rest of your schedule
