Our client just north of Dallas, Texas is hiring strong Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Accounting Manager Background Profile:
Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with GAAP.
This position will oversee a team of accountants, collaborate closely with other departments, and report directly to the Sr. Accounting Manager.
Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in managing the monthly financial close process, ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, and reviewing journal entries and account balance reconciliations.
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain significant deviations from budget and forecast.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Prepare for and assist with external audits, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of requested information.
Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information and to support company-wide initiatives.
Oversee the accounting for fixed assets, including acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of assets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as needed to support the dynamic needs of the accounting team.
Accounting Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
5+ years of public accounting experience required.
Previous management experience required.
Proficiency in ERP software (Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations preferred).
Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
Exhibit a commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and unwavering attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial reports.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with advanced spreadsheet skills.
