What You'll Do:

• Be the critical leader who handles financial management and strategy in a fast-paced hospitality and retail setting
• Keep a tight grip on comprehensive financial information including P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and detailed financial analysis
• Prepare financial reports, projections, and ad-hoc management reports to guide strategic decisions
• Manage cash flow operations, focusing on Accounts Payable
• Strengthen internal controls to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency
• Navigate through complex regulatory requirements specific to food service and retail operations
• Oversee financial aspects of multi-unit restaurant and retail operations
• Handle specialized F&B financial processes such as delivery service payment reconciliation and outlet performance analysis
• Keep the office running smoothly and maintain organized accounting filing systems
• Lead risk management efforts, including workers compensation administration and insurance coordination
• Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Utilize your advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and ADP for seamless operations
• Maintain and update financial systems and processes for maximum efficiency
• Prepare and distribute automated reports and critical sales summaries
• Process and post sales data accurately
• Monitor bank balances, ACH transactions, and check processing
• Generate detailed sales summaries for all outlets
• Handle payment processing and transfers

Your Background Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
• At least 5 years of accounting experience in the restaurant or retail industry
• CPA certification is a plus
• Demonstrated experience in restaurant and retail financial operations with a deep understanding of industry regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and ADP systems
• Strong background in multi-location financial management and reporting
• Experience with tax preparation, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance
