Your Role as Coordinator of Outreach
As the Coordinator of Outreach, you'll be the bridge connecting our organization with the local community. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and coordinating impactful outreach projects with local service organizations
- Matching church members and groups with rewarding volunteer opportunities
- Supporting the strategic Mission and Outreach objectives
- Being the go-to person for all Mission and Outreach activities
- Coordinating volunteer efforts from recruitment to communication
- Working hand-in-hand with the Associate for Mission and Outreach
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with nonprofit and community partners
- Assisting in preparing reports on project progress and volunteer impact
- Attending and providing support during Mission and Outreach Committee meetings
- Encouraging parishioners to use their spiritual gifts in outreach settings
What We're Looking For
To be a perfect fit for this role, you'll need:
- A college degree (preferred)
- At least 1 year of project management experience in a nonprofit, ministry, or community setting
- The ability to juggle multiple projects with finesse and attention to detail
- Initiative, collaboration skills, and great interpersonal effectiveness
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Teams, Word, and Excel
- Flexibility to work weekends and travel for outreach events

Job Requirements
