Hey there! We're looking for a talented Automotive Electrical Designer to join our client in Sugarland, TX. This is a direct hire opportunity with a cool 9/80 work schedule - that means you get every other Friday off to recharge!

Your Role as an Automotive Electrical Designer:
As an Automotive Electrical Designer, you'll be diving into developing and refining the electrical systems of specialized off-road vehicles. You'll create schematics, design wiring layouts, and team up with engineers to perfect performance, safety, and compliance. Your deep understanding of vehicle electrical systems will come into play daily, from power distribution and control units to lighting and communication networks.
You'll design detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams customized for off-road vehicles, strategize layouts for wire routing and component placement, and collaborate closely with engineering teams to tweak designs for efficiency and manufacturability. Keeping comprehensive design records and ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and industry regulations are all part of the game.
The fun doesn't stop there! You'll also support prototype testing, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and stay updated on emerging vehicle electrical technologies to keep pushing designs to the next level.
Your Background Profile as an Automotive Electrical Designer:
- Hold an Associate’s degree (or the equivalent) in Electrical Engineering Technology, Automotive Technology, or a related field
- Have at least 5 years of experience in designing electrical systems, preferably in automotive or off-road vehicle industries
- Rock a strong grasp of off-road vehicle electrical systems, from power distribution to wiring and sensors
- Be a pro in AutoDesk 3D design software, especially Inventor & Vault
- Showcase your ability to read, create, and modify electrical schematics with accuracy
- Bonus points if you're familiar with Pelton and INOVA vibrator controllers
- Bring your problem-solving mindset, collaboration skills, and communication prowess to the table

Job Requirements
