We're Hiring a Buyer for Hispanic Foods!
Hey there! Our client in lively Cincinnati, OH is looking to bring on board a Buyer who will specialize in Hispanic Foods on a direct hire basis. This is your chance to work with a fantastic team at an established Grocery Retailer where customer service is king!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing the procurement of Hispanic, Central, and South American food categories
- Placing orders, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery
- Negotiating with suppliers to get the best deals
- Keeping things in line with FIFO and Rotation processes
- Supervising inventory management and collaborating with other departments to improve product offerings
- Training and leading a team of staff in buying activities
- Attending events like trade shows to keep things exciting
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail grocery buying or a related field
- Must be Bilingual - English and Spanish
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Proven success in growing product categories and hitting sales targets
- Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperature environments
- Proficiency with office computer skills, including Google Docs and Spreadsheets
- Experience with inventory management software and retail pricing strategies
- Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
