- Grocery Management:
- Lead daily store operations to ensure smooth product flow and top-notch customer satisfaction
- Create visually appealing product displays and manage inventory levels
- Engage with customers and team members to enhance the shopping experience
- Handle customer inquiries and special requests with finesse
- Work closely with the Store Manager on product placement strategies
- Buyer Apprentice Duties:
- Assist senior buyers with procurement tasks
- Support supplier onboarding processes and maintain relationships
- Learn the ins and outs of the procurement lifecycle
- Monitor inventory levels and liaise with suppliers for optimal pricing and delivery
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
Required Background:
You'll need a High School Diploma or GED, along with five years of related experience or a mix of experience and education. Prior experience in order writing, procurement, or retail leadership is a plus, especially in the grocery or specialty foods sector. Proficiency in Google Workspace and Power BI, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours are essential.
