What You'll Do:
As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you'll be the backbone of our pharmacy operations, working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your tasks will include processing prescriptions, managing inventory, providing stellar customer service, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. You'll get to assist with prescription dispensing, handle customer questions, process payments, and collaborate with other healthcare pros.
- Work closely with pharmacists to process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Help prepare and dispense medications, making sure everything is labeled and dosed correctly
- Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients for smooth prescription processing
- Keep meticulous records of prescriptions, sales, and inventory to meet all documentation requirements
- Provide top-notch customer service by answering questions and ensuring a positive pharmacy experience
What We're Looking For:
- Current CPhT certification from the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Pass a criminal background check
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Great communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work well in a healthcare team
- Knowledge of prescription terminology and drug calculations
