What You'll Do as a Compensation Specialist:
- Lead and manage compensation structures, handling salary adjustments, bonus programs, and merit increases
- Support the company-wide compensation strategy that aligns with industry standards and business goals
- Conduct compensation market research and internal job evaluations to ensure fair pay practices
- Work closely with HR and leadership on pay decisions, promotions, and role classifications
- Assist in job leveling initiatives and maintain job description documentation across various departments
- Help develop and implement relocation packages and incentive plans
- Create easy-to-understand compensation statements detailing base pay, bonuses, benefits, and retirement contributions
- Administer and support benefits programs, including health, dental, life insurance, and more
- Ensure data accuracy in HRIS/benefit platforms and compliance with legal requirements
Your Background Profile:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in compensation analysis or HR roles focusing on compensation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom) is a big plus
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information
