Quality Manager
Our client based in the DFW Metro area is currently in search of an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to oversee the quality operations at a manufacturing facility. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the quality assurance and quality control functions throughout all shifts to ensure products meet customer specifications, internal standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the Quality Department, managing inspectors, technicians, and lab personnel across all shifts.
- Ensure adherence to quality processes on the production floor, including first piece inspections, in-process audits, and final inspections.
- Maintain a strong presence on the plant floor to identify and resolve quality concerns in real-time.
- Enhance quality systems related to production, fabrication, and finishing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances.
- Act as the main point of contact for quality-related matters with customers, managing issues, returns, and audits.
- Analyze quality data to drive improvements in scrap reduction, customer complaints, and process capability.
- Ensure compliance with quality documentation and standards, supporting internal and external audits.
- Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities for the quality team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, SPC, and FMEA.
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and influence at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
- Willingness to be hands-on in a production environment and work off-shift or weekends if needed.

Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment; experience in metal processing or similar industries is highly desirable.
