Job Description
Project Manager
Our client located in DFW is in need of a Project Manager for their Oil and Gas/Subsea Division. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.

Project Manager Role:
Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring they're delivered on time, within budget, and meet all specified requirements.
Act as the main liaison with clients, managing all commercial and scheduling aspects of the projects.
Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and the customer.
Coordinate internally with management, sales, engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
Mechanical Project Manager will develop project schedules and staffing needs in collaboration with project leads.
Create and review project plans to track progress.
Manage document submissions according to contract terms.
Handle variation orders and invoicing processes.
Keep track of project milestones and financials.
Mechanical Project Manager will conduct regular meetings with both customers and internal teams to ensure alignment and set priorities.
Facilitate equipment design reviews with customers and engineering teams.
Maintain project schedules and provide progress updates.
Monitor engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing activities.
Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Project Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing setting; or at least 14 years of relevant experience without a degree.
Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, preferably in an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) environment.
Previous exposure to offshore Oil & Gas equipment, subsea, and processes is advantageous.
Familiarity with forgings, particularly alloy steel and titanium, is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.
Proficiency in computer applications including Project Scheduling, Word Processing, and Spreadsheets.
