Our client in Goodlettsville Tennessee has an immediate need for a Contract Sales Manager on a direct hire basis. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with industry experience in fire protection or life safety systems, who has successfully managed $1M+ contracts and can strategically grow a $5M+ annual book of business.Â

Contract Sales Manager Role:
The Contract Sales Manager will focus exclusively on contract sales (not service orders) and will be instrumental in identifying new project opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and managing bids from start to finish.
Drive new fire protection contract sales with the goal of building a $5M+ annual portfolio
Identify, pursue, and win large-scale projects (typically 6â12 months in duration)
Manage customer relationships, conduct site visits, generate bids/estimates, and oversee the full sales cycle
Utilize internal teams and support resources to streamline administrative and estimating tasks
Attend WIP meetings and collaborate closely with operations and district leadership
Leverage provided leads and generate new business through personal outreach and networking
Travel to office locations and job sites as required (for remote hires)
Engage with industry partners, platforms, and bid services to stay competitive
Represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner at all times
Contract Sales Manager Background Profile:
Fire Protection or Life Safety industry experience is required
Proven success managing high-value contracts ($1M+ range)
Strong client relationship management and consultative selling skills
Experience with contract bidding, estimating, and negotiation
Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
Familiarity with third-party bid platforms is a plus (training available)
Able to travel and participate in in-person meetings as needed
Strong communication and organizational skills
