Senior Human Resources Business Partner Role:
The Senior Human Resource Business Partner is responsible for executing daily HR strategies, ensuring successful employee management practices, and delivering exceptional HR customer service. This role collaborates closely with the Head of HR, Group Chief HR & Safety Officer, General Managers, and other members of the HR & Safety team to develop and implement key organizational culture, engagement, and change initiatives.
Overseeing financial performance and operational efficiency of properties to optimize revenue and performance.
Translating business needs into effective people management practices that align with business goals.
Offering support to management and leadership on people management and HR-related matters.
Managing HR obligations across multiple sites.
Partnering proactively with business leaders to deliver comprehensive HR services throughout the employee life cycle.
Leading HR projects and initiatives.
Assisting department managers in implementing and managing HR policies and practices that create an optimal work environment and foster a high-performance culture.
Supporting the creation, review, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
Managing Return to Work processes for employees.
Championing cultural change and promoting new ways of working and continuous improvement in HR practices.
Gathering feedback from customers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for service enhancements.
Supporting the annual appraisal and review process.
Contributing to the business enterprise agreement process.
Helping develop and implement organizational culture, engagement, and change initiatives.
Analyzing key metrics and providing commentary to leadership for decision-making and monthly reporting.
Providing support for absent HR team members when needed.
Senior Human Resources Business Partner Profile:
A degree in Human Resources
At least 5 years of experience as a Business Partner or Human Resources Generalist.
Strong knowledge of Rehabilitation and Return to Work processes.
Proven success in driving change management initiatives and influencing organizational culture.
In-depth understanding of proactive HR services and their impact on business improvements.
Capable of aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
Strong expertise in employment law and HR best practices, with the ability to interpret and communicate this knowledge to others.
Extensive experience in guiding and supporting managers in addressing complex and challenging people-related issues at all levels
Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of working effectively in collaborative environments.
Strong negotiation, influencing, and persuasion skills, with the ability to challenge existing ideas and approaches in a constructive and creative manner.
Credible and skilled in advising on empowering and effective people management.
Demonstrable experience in creating and implementing rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
