What You'll Be Up To as a Staff Accountant:
- Rocking the day-to-day accounting operations
- Ensuring financial reports are as accurate as your coffee order
- Keeping the intercompany and general ledger activities on point
- Getting cozy with the company's financial systems and workflows
- Being a detective to solve any discrepancies in transactions
Your Background Mixtape:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (high five if it's from a cool institution)
- 2-4 years of experience in general ledger accounting roles
- Strong skills in organization and attention to detail
- Time management like a boss
- Pro at problem-solving and staying ahead of the game
- Juggling multiple priorities like a circus performer
- Excel pro and NetSuite enthusiast
- Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Bonus points for knowledge of captive insurance and multi-state sales tax stuff
