Our client in Phoenix, Arizona has an immediate need for a National Maintenance Director on a direct hire basis.

National Maintenance Director Role:
The National Maintenance Director is responsible for managing and mentoring Maintenance Supervisors and teams across multiple facilities. This leadership role focuses on ensuring the effectiveness of maintenance operations, overseeing capital project management, and driving the adoption of best practices within the organization.
Managing capital projects from start to finish, including staffing, contractor coordination, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and creating detailed construction schedules.
Assisting in the recruitment and selection of top talent for maintenance team positions.
Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for maintenance staff.
Supporting Property and Asset Managers with property takeovers and conducting due diligence as required.
Supervising 3-6 direct reports and overseeing the performance of maintenance teams through subordinate supervisors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
National Maintenance Director Background Profile:
High school diploma required.
HVAC and A/C/R Certifications required.
Extensive experience managing facility maintenance across multiple locations.
Strong leadership capabilities with a proven history of training and developing maintenance teams.
Expertise in standardizing maintenance practices and executing effective maintenance programs.
Skilled in contract negotiation and managing capital improvement projects.
Willingness to travel 50%-75% of the time.
