Bookkeeper/ Accountant
Job Description
Our client in Dallas, TX is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper/ Accountant to join their team on a direct hire basis.

Bookkeeper/ Accountant Role:
- Oversee all day-to-day accounting activities with a focus on accuracy and timeliness in invoicing, reconciliations, and expense management.
- Manage company bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and send customer invoices with proper job costing and coding.
- Conduct regular bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain precise financial records and assist in month-end and year-end closings.
- Enter and code vendor bills, expenses, and payments in QuickBooks.
- Provide support to management by generating financial reports and conducting data analysis as required.
- Perform daily cash reconciliations and accounts payable data entry for multiple entities.
- Develop cash forecasts and prepare weekly payment schedules.
- Oversee bi-monthly payroll operations.
Bookkeeper/ Accountant Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is desirable.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a prerequisite.
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP.
- Strong Excel skills, including experience with formulas and pivot tables.
