Bookkeeper Role:
The Bookkeeper will oversee all day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across invoicing, reconciliations, and expense management. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction or service-based accounting, QuickBooks expertise, and strong Excel skills.
Manage all aspects of company bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare and send customer invoices; ensure proper job costing and coding of all transactions.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations regularly.
Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end and year-end closings.
Enter and code vendor bills, expenses, and payments in QuickBooks.
Track project expenses and ensure accuracy in cost allocations.
Support management with financial reports and data analysis as needed.
Maintain organized records and documentation for all accounting activities.
Bookkeeper Background Profile:
Minimum 4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
QuickBooks experience requiredÂ
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data organization).
Experience with invoicing, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Experience in construction, renovation, or plumbing services strongly preferred.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
