Job Description
Our client, an expanding organization headquartered in Antioch, TN, is actively seeking a skilled Controller to join their team. This pivotal role involves overseeing financial operations to support the company's growth trajectory. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with a strong distribution background and a proficient understanding of NetSuite ERP.

As the company continues to expand its revenue stream, we are searching for a proactive Controller to streamline financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and drive further advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Commissions
- Manage bank reconciliations, daily cash management, and cash flow forecasting
- Ensure precise reporting of inventory and COGS, incorporating landed cost and freight allocations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes to produce timely and accurate financial statements
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to inform strategic decisions
- Enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with external stakeholders such as CPAs, tax advisors, and lenders to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy
- Produce management reports on profitability, margins, and key performance indicators
- Manage financial processes within NetSuite ERP to ensure efficiency and data integrity
- Support tax filings, insurance renewals, and compliance requirements
- Identify and implement process enhancements and automation opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in distribution or related industries
- Proficiency in NetSuite ERP
- Demonstrated expertise in cash flow management, financial reporting, and multi-entity month-end closing
- Thorough understanding of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and margin analysis
- Detail-oriented, organized, and hands-on with a strong sense of ownership
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that values collaboration and accountability
