District Manager

Our client in New Orleans, LA, is currently seeking a dedicated District Manager to join their team on a direct-hire basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and strategic performance of 8-10 grocery stores within a designated region.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to company standards, financial objectives, and customer satisfaction across all locations.
  • Lead sales, merchandising, staffing, and compliance efforts within the district.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance sales, profitability, and market share.
  • Provide guidance, motivation, and training to store managers to meet operational and financial targets.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and maintain brand consistency.
  • Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to track progress and implement corrective measures when necessary.
  • Collaborate with HR and training departments to recruit and nurture high-performing store leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and local laws.
  • Oversee inventory management, shrink reduction initiatives, and cost control measures.
  • Support the implementation of company initiatives, seasonal promotions, and new store launches.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-unit management within the grocery retail industry or a similar setting.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving financial and operational objectives.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in retail management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned district.
