Benefits Coordinator Role:
The Benefits Coordinator will play a key role in supporting day-to-day benefits operations across a distributed workforce. This Benefits Coordinator position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in benefits administration who is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a remote environment.
Provide daily support for employee benefits programs, including Health & Welfare and Retirement plans
Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits enrollment, eligibility, and coverage
Assist with administration and coordination of benefits processes across multiple locations
Utilize Excel to manage, track, and analyze benefits data (including pivot tables and lookups)
Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity within benefits systems
Support ongoing benefits-related projects and process improvements
Partner with internal teams to ensure timely and effective benefits support
Benefits Coordinator Background Profile:
3+ years of experience in benefits administration, HR support, or a related field
Basic knowledge of Health & Welfare and Retirement plans (401k/403b)
Strong Excel skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote setting
Strong communication and organizational skills
