IT Automation & Systems Administrator
Our client located in Austin, TX is hiring a IT Automation & Systems Administrator to their team. This is an onsite direct hire opportunity.

IT Systems & Business Automation Specialist Role:
The IT Systems & Business Automation Specialist will support internal IT operations while helping expand the company’s automation capabilities.
Role blends traditional IT support with modern workflow automation focused on building automation tools and improving business processes.
Will provide support across internal systems, end user support, and automation initiatives.
Approximately 70–80% of this role will focus on automation and workflow development, while the remaining time will support general IT operations including user support, onboarding, and systems administration.
Build and maintain workflow automations using automation platforms, AI coding tools, and custom integrations
Identify manual internal processes and develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
Maintain and improve existing automation workflows including internal reporting, research processes, and partner communications
Develop integrations between internal systems and external platforms
Manage and resolve internal IT support tickets including access issues, hardware and software troubleshooting, and general technical support
Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including workstation setup and system access provisioning
Support administration of the Microsoft 365 environment including user accounts, access permissions, and group management
Monitor and support network infrastructure
Assist with maintaining internal security policies and system access controls
Support security initiatives related to compliance frameworks such as SOC and ISO standards
Assist with responses to client and partner security questionnaires
IT Systems & Business Automation Specialist Background Profile:
1–2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and user access issues
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support employees across departments
Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States
Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n
Familiarity with AI coding tools or automation platforms
Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
Basic scripting experience in Python or JavaScript
