Job Description
Our client is currently looking to fill the position of Direct Hire Outside Sales Representative in Lakewood, Colorado. This is a full-time role ideal for an experienced industrial automation sales professional with established territory relationships and a successful history in competitive markets.

Outside Sales Representative Role:
- Responsible for sales, marketing, and technical support across various customer segments including OEMs, distributors, engineers, and consultants in an assigned territory.
- Targeted account outreach to OEMs, panel shops, system integrators, UL508A shops, and distributor partners.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities strategically among direct competitors and high-impact market segments.
- Facilitating effective communication between customers, internal marketing teams, and factory personnel to drive technical assistance, new business, and project implementation.
- Cultivating enduring relationships with channel partners and key customers in the region.
- Playing a key role in seizing unique business opportunities by leading internal initiatives.
- Participating in strategic planning, territory growth endeavors, and assisting in target setting and market expansion.
- Collaborating with engineering, operations, and sales teams to develop customized solutions for customers.
- Consistently achieving revenue growth through proactive selling, account development, and solution-oriented sales approaches.
Outside Sales Representative Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in outside sales, marketing, or business development relating to industrial controls, safety automation, or similar automation products.
- Expertise in LV & MV control products such as circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers, and associated hardware.
- Existing customer relationships and active accounts within the designated territory.
- Experience selling to OEMs, system integrators, UL508A panel shops, distributors, contractors, consultants, and EPC organizations.
- A successful track record in competitive markets and proven ability to engage with industry professionals in similar roles.
