Pharmacist in Charge
Job Description
We are seeking a proficient and committed Pharmacist in Charge to supervise retail pharmacy operations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas.

Responsibilities of the Pharmacist in Charge:
- Lead a collaborative team and ensure seamless operations
- Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations
- Deliver top-tier patient care, including prescription verification and counseling
- Supervise, educate, and guide staff members
- Enhance workflow efficiency utilizing PioneerRx pharmacy software
- Supervise compliance packaging activities using Dispill for accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate patient and facility deliveries on weekdays
- Maintain precise records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and inventory
- Formulate and execute policies to enhance operational effectiveness and regulatory conformity
- Cultivate robust relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and the local community
- Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance and compliance benchmarks
Qualifications for the Pharmacist in Charge role:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited program
- Active pharmacist license in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail pharmacy settings
- Prior leadership or management experience is desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and compliance protocols
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy management software is advantageous
- Experience with compliance packaging, particularly Dispill, is preferred
