Public Relations Associate
Our client in Houston, TX is a growing professional services organization Public Relations Associate to support strategic communications initiatives across both internal operations and external client engagements. This is an onsite, direct hire opportunity.

Public Relations Associate Role:
The Public Relations Associate will support a wide range of communications and marketing initiatives while partnering closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong writing ability, social media experience, media relations exposure, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key responsibilities include:
Drafting press releases, media pitches, and communications materials
Supporting media outreach and media list development
Managing and executing social media content and campaigns
Creating presentations, marketing collateral, and visual assets
Assisting with communications strategy and brand messaging
Supporting event coordination and logistics
Conducting research, reporting, and media monitoring
Participating in client meetings and presentations
Supporting multiple client projects and internal initiatives simultaneously
Public Relations Associate Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree required
2 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field
Agency or professional services experience strongly preferred
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Experience with social media strategy and execution
Familiarity with media relations and press outreach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
Comfortable in client-facing environments and fast-paced settings
Adaptable with the ability to quickly learn new industries and subject matter
